Bud's Bait Return Policy
We appreciate your business! We know that sometimes things happen with purchases, and returns are occasionally necessary. This policy helps protect both us and you.
- Timing and Location
Returns for online purchases are handled during normal working hours, not on weekends or holidays, at the Joplin Location. - Proof of Purchase
You must supply identifying information, including, but not necessarily limited to, the BB Order Number, and probably some details considered as PII (Personally Identifiable Information). - Item Condition
Within 30 days of purchase, we will accept any items that can be shipped provided they are in the original package and in salable condition. - Warranty on Defective Equipment (Definitions & Examples)
For rods, reels & other equipment sales, we will accept Warranty return for exchange if it is a true and OBVIOUS manufacturer defect.
Manufacturer defects include, but are not limited to:- Issues with faulty eyes on rods
- Reel seats slipping on the rod
- Reels not spinning to expectation
Manufacturer defects do NOT include:- Rod blank breaks
- Reels that have been taken apart and put back together
- Reel handle snapping
- Items submitted that are deemed to not have manufacturer defects but are still under warranty will need to be taken care of by the manufacturer.
- Warranty Handling After Purchase Period After 30 days of purchase, any warranty will need to be fulfilled by the manufacturer.
